WP Speed Pilot

WP Speed Pilot is a WordPress plugin with a cloud service behind it. You install the plugin, connect the site and pick a preset. The heavy optimisation work runs on WP Speed Pilot's own servers instead of the customer's hosting, and each page is processed once rather than on every visit. That is what keeps the price at $2 a month.

It grew out of my client work. I fix slow WordPress sites every week, and I wanted one tool that does the whole job: page cache, critical CSS, delayed scripts, WebP images and a separate copy for phones. On a live Elementor site, measured with Google PageSpeed Insights in October 2026, it took the mobile score from 47 to 98 and the page weight from 6.6 MB to 0.6 MB.

The part I am proudest of is the AI pilot. When something looks wrong after optimisation, the owner just describes it. The pilot opens the page in a real browser on a phone and a laptop, compares it with the original, fixes only that one script or element on that one page, then checks the score held. If a change does not help, it rolls it back.
