Privacy Policy

This site is run by Najmul Nahid, trading as Nahid Web Design, from Muslim Nagar, Narayanganj 1400, Bangladesh. If you want anything on this page explained or acted on, email [email protected] — it comes straight to me, not to a support desk.

There is no analytics script on this site, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tracker. Nothing you do here is shared with an ad network.

What is collected, and when

If you send an enquiry

The form stores what you typed into it:

• Your name, email address and website address, which are required.
• Your business name, what you need and your timeline, which are optional.
• The message you wrote.
• Which page you arrived on, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you followed.
• The country the request came from.

I use this to reply to you and to do the site check you asked for. Nothing else. Under UK and EU data protection law the lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

If you book a call

Your name, email address, the timezone your browser reported, and anything you wrote in the notes. A phone number only if you give one. You get a link that lets you move or cancel the booking yourself, without an account or a password.

Everyone, to stop the form being abused

Your IP address is hashed and then stored — never in the clear, purely to count how many submissions have come from one place recently. The hash cannot be turned back into your address. No IP address is written to the database in a readable form anywhere on this site.

Who else sees it

Only the services needed to run the site and reach you: the server it is hosted on, and the provider that sends the confirmation and notification emails. Your details are not sold, rented, or passed to anyone for marketing. There is no newsletter and no follow-up sequence.

How long it is kept

Enquiries and bookings are kept while there is a reason to — an active conversation, a job in progress, or the records of one — and deleted on request at any time. Abuse-prevention hashes are short-lived and kept only long enough to enforce the limit.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EU you can ask for a copy of what I hold about you, ask for it corrected, ask for it deleted, or object to my holding it. Email [email protected] and I will action it within thirty days, usually within one working day. You do not have to give a reason. You can also complain to your national data protection authority — in the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies

No cookies are set for analytics, advertising or tracking, which is why there is no cookie banner. A single session cookie is set only if you log into the private admin area, which is me.
